Messages in Water

Messages in Water

Has anyone heard of the book Messages in Water by Masaru Emoto?  It’s a few years old, but I’m so darn fascinated by it.  The whole premise of the book (spoiler alert) is scientifically demonstrating how “the influence of our thoughts, words and feelings on molecules of water can positively impact the earth and our personal health”.

Which to some may sound absolutely nutty but I swear it’s completely fascinating. Mr. Emoto shares about how negative words can literally change the molecular make up of water.  Pretty much mutating the molecules.  And he shows how positive words and feelings can enhance the molecular make up of water making it “super” water.

And yes, I know that there is criticism towards this book, but what if just for a second we all accepted the significance of his work? What if we fully, whole heartedly owned the power of our influence on the world around us?  The power of your thoughts. The power of your words. The power of your feelings.

If you truly harnessed the power and influence of your thoughts, words and feelings, what would you do?

What would you say?

Would you use that power for good or evil?

Would you make apologies?

Would you spread love?

Would you ask for forgiveness?

The possibilities are endless.

And beyond powerful!

If you’re so overwhelmed in your relationship and it’s negatively influencing your thoughts, words and feelings, what would happen if you worked to change the tide?  What if your thoughts reflected curiosity on how to create change? What if your words reflected gratitude and your feelings reflected hope?

What would it change around you?

I believe you could tremendously impact your relationship.

My intention from this blog post is to encourage you to slow down and spend some time answering these questions.  Journal them. Mediate on them. Reflect on them. See what change you can create around you.

And if you’re stuck or overwhelmed and can’t shift the influence of your thoughts, words and feelings, please reach out.  We’d love to help:  www.MyHappyCouple.com or 916.955.3200.
